Classes started this week and my 2-3 year olds had so much fun skittering around like black spiders, singing about bees and moving around like a thunderstorm! My 4-5 year olds moved their bodies up and down like red balloons at a circus while learning about the staff and how notes move on the staff. My 5-6 year olds learned that intervals on the piano stick together like two best-friend turtles. And my oldest group learned the "magic" of our I-IV-V chords, rhythmic notation and note names in Purple Magic! And that just scratches the surface of the fun we had!
Music is amazing and Let's Play Music is my favorite way to share the experience with children!
